Dalit Solidarity, Inc. has publicised the plight of the Dalits through media in the last 12 years. Through our constant advocacy and lobbying and publications. Many US News Papers brought out our stories and alerted the American People about how Dalits go through injustice and oppression every day in India. We are very proud that US Congress and UN discuss about the dalit situation and restoration of the human rights. April 17, 2010 Global Activism Expo, Chicago This past Saturday was the 2010 Global Activism Expo and it was a hugely successful and memorable day. Dalit Solidarity, Inc. was invited by the Chicago Public Radio to be part of the Expo. It was a great even for Dalit Solidarity to advococate the rights of the marginalised and outcaste (Dalits) to the outer world. More than 3000 people visited the display of the Dalit Solidarity, Inc. in support of the rights of the Dalits.
